The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UK is pleased to be teaming up with the renowned IE University, a leading higher education institution and Member of the Chamber, to host an exclusive Executive Breakfast with the Dean of their Business School, Dr Lee Newman, as a special guest speaker.

The focus of the Executive Breakfast will be Positive Leadership and Behavioural Fitness.

Leadership, from Dr. Newman’s perspective, is about establishing the conditions under which people can perform at their best. The field of positive psychology provides a rich source of ideas about how positivity and negativity in the workplace can affect the quality of thinking and behaviour daily – and offers ideas for how leaders can engage in designing employee experience to boost positivity and reduce negativity.

Even with positive leadership practices, difficult situations happen in every workplace. When people with different interests and diverse backgrounds work together under pressure, there is inevitably “turbulence” and friction. But how might these turbulent moments be turned into learning moments that catalyse self-transformation and growth?

Behavioural fitness is about how as leaders and colleagues, you might create these conditions and achieve a deep and lasting behavioural competitive advantage.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A session. Prior to the session, attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow executives over breakfast.

Date & Time: Thursday 13th June | 08:30 – 10:00

Location: Pavilion Club Knightsbridge | 64 Knightsbridge | London SW1X 7JF

This event is by invitation only. For further information, please email Alicia Pacho.
