On Thursday 9th October, we held the XX edition of our Elevator Pitch networking event. This edition took place at the NH Hotel Kensington, part of NH Hotels which are Patrons of the Spanish Chamber.
Ms. Raquel Lozano welcomed everyone on behalf of NH Hotel Kensington and accompanied the attendees to the beautiful conservatory area where the event took place.
On this occasion the event was chaired by Cristina Carmona, Head of Corporate Relations and Communication, and our Events & Communication Co-ordinator, María Prieto, who started the event explaining the dynamics of this activity to the participants. After this, each attendee had 2 minutes to give a concise introduction about their company’s main line of activity and services they provided. After the first round, there was a second opportunity for which each of the participants could ask questions to others.
The main purpose of the Elevator Pitch is to provide participants with the possibility to expand their network and to explore synergies as well as further avenues of collaboration with the rest of participants.
For those of you that have never attended one or do not know how The Elevator Pitch works, there are just a couple of things you need to know before signing up for it the next time. Firstly, there is a maximum of 14 places available and only one participant per company can attend. Besides which, only two companies from the same sector are able to attend each edition – with the exception of the host, who benefits from being the sole representative from its sector.
In this edition there was a wide variety of sectors represented such as Conciliation Agency, Insurance, Language Services, Software, Hotel, Training Services, Legal Services, Online Marketing, Recruitment Agency, Press and Publishing Services and Business Consultancy Services.
