Unmatched in the scope and quality of its research, the 4th edition of the Barometer on the Climate and Outlook for Spanish Investment in the UK prepared by Afi, will draw trade specialists, investment banks, large utilities companies, and government officials together to share their insights on the contributions that Spanish companies are making in various sectors of the British economy.
Given the current economic turbulence onset by the war between Russia and Ukraine and the novel post-pandemic world, the outlook for Spanish investment in the UK faces a new set of challenges that will be explored in this bilateral event, co-hosted by the Department for International Trade (DIT).
Further reflections will be shared by the Minister for Trade of the Spanish Government, Ms Xiana Méndez and the UK Trade Minister Greg Hands MP.
Three panel discussions will be convened and moderated by Peter Foster from the Financial Times, with a particular focus on the impact of investment including transaction cost analyses, views on the British market, and energy, by experts in their respective fields. Concluding remarks will be given by The Earl of Kinnoull, Chair of the EU Affairs Policy Committee of the UK House of Lords.
The event will commence with brief key insights by H.E Spanish Ambassador, Mr José Pascual Marco and the President of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Mr Eduardo Barrachina.
WE HOPE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN US FOR THIS TOPICAL AND HIGHLY ANTICIPATED PRESENTATION EVENT.
