About the speakers:

 

María Delia Domínguez Montenegro has held a Law degree since 1992. She was working for years in CAIXA -a financial Entity in Spain- specifically for the foreign trade department. She belongs to the Canary Islands Special Zone Consortium as a senior officer.

ZEC aims to attract investment to the Canary Islands in order to diversify its economic  structure focused on tourism. The Canary Islands are considered an outermost territory by the European Union Commission, and for this reason they enjoy tax advantages.

 

Natasha Meah Layland is a Tax Advisor and Lawyer; Director and founder of EBF Consulting SL, benefactor of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UK.  An acting board member of the Association for Tax Consultants in Spain (AEAFYT) and long-standing member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Spain. She is a Business Ambassador for Proexca and expert in the structure of ZEC entities and tax incentives in the Canary Islands.

 

Jerónimo Falcón is a Spanish economist with 30 years’ experience working in PROEXCA, the publicly owned company of the local government of the Canary Islands in charge of promoting the internationalization of the economy. Nowadays he serves as Senior Project Manager at the INVEST IN THE CANARY ISLANDS department. He has a great deal of experience in supporting foreign entities with their soft-landing process when registering in the Canaries.

 

Verónica Ducouré is an inward and outward trade advisor for UK & Ireland specialised in oil gas, renewables, film, gaming, tech and F&B based at the Spanish Commercial Office in London.
