The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UK is delighted to invite all its Patrons to a private and exclusive tour of Leighton House, on the occasion of the exhibition “Leighton and Landscape: Impressions from Nature”. This exhibition showcases pictorial works that the artist created during his multiple travels, including landscapes of the different places in Spain that he had the opportunity to visit.
This will be a unique opportunity to get to know the impressive house museum exclusively, at a time when it is closed to the public, and to learn about the leading Victorian artist’s life and work in a curator-led tour.
The guided tour will begin after a light breakfast on the premises of the house museum, a Victorian building that, although recently refurbished, keeps the original furnishings, distribution and the extraordinary Arab Hall which reflects Leighton’s fascination with the Middle East.
Date and time: Thursday 23rd January, 8:30am (for a 9:00am start) – 10:00am
Location: Leighton House | 12 Holland Park Road | London W14 8LZ
Please note that this event is exclusive to Patrons and by invitation only. Please RSVP by email to miriam.gimeno@spanishchamber.co.uk
