The Spanish Chamber of Commerce is committed to fostering dialogue between its Members and the UK Government, particularly on key policy areas that impact business and trade. In this regard, we are pleased to announce that the Rt Hon Nick Thomas-Symonds MP, Minister for European Union Relations in the Cabinet Office, will join us as the special guest speaker at our next Meliá Business Breakfast.
At a time when the UK is seeking to reset and deepen its relationship with the European Union, this session offers a unique opportunity for Spanish companies operating in the UK to hear directly from the Minister responsible for EU relations. His insights will be particularly valuable for businesses looking to understand the Government’s approach to UK–EU trade, cooperation, and regulatory alignment in the coming years.
The Minister’s briefing will touch on key portfolio areas including:
- UK–EU relations and the Windsor Framework
- Business and trade cooperation between the UK and EU
- Strengthening bilateral ties with Spain
The talk will be followed by a Q&A session, after which guests will have the opportunity to network while enjoying a Spanish breakfast. The event will take place at the Meliá White House hotel, a proud Patron of the Spanish Chamber.
Date & Time: Thursday 20th November, 08:00 (for an 08:30 start) – 09:30
