About the Minister:
Seema Malhotra was elected as the MP for Feltham and Heston in the general election of July 2024.
Political career
Seema Malhotra first entered Parliament in December 2011 following her victory in the Feltham and Heston by-election.
She held a number of shadow roles whilst in opposition including shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury from 2015 to 2016 and shadow Home Office Minister in 2015. She has also served as a member of the Justice Select Committee and the Committee on the Future Relationship with the European Union select committee.
