For the next edition of our online Meliá Business Breakfast series on the 14th May, we are thrilled to be joined by Mike Cherry OBE, the National Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Mike will be addressing the impact of the COVID-19 on the UK economy and providing his advice for businesses on how to survive the crisis, while also assessing the government schemes made available to support UK companies. In evaluation of the longer term impact, he will then discuss the key role of international trade in aiding the recovery of the global economy.
Biography
Mike Cherry OBE is the National Chairman of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB). An active FSB member for over 20 years, he is committed to getting the voice of small firms heard at the highest level. Previous to his current role, Mike led FSB’s campaigning and policy work for nearly a decade as National Policy Director. He remains a strong advocate of employability and enterprise, both in the UK and across the globe.
