The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UK, in collaboration with its Patron LALIGA, invites Members and non-Members alike to a one-off event centred on the role of football in international relations and how it has expanded Spain’s soft power across the world.
A presentation where Keegan Pierce, Director of International Relations at LALIGA, and Ben Precious, LALIGA’s Delegate for the UK & Ireland, will provide insights into football as a key component of Spain’s global presence and the role the UK market plays in supporting this.
Following their presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to network over drinks and Spanish tapas.

About the Speakers:
Keegan Pierce, Director of International Relations at LALIGA
From LALIGA’s London office, Keegan Pierce oversees LALIGA’s global public affairs strategy, including bilateral collaborations with clubs, leagues, local governments and fan groups, as well as other international stakeholders, while also supervising the league’s activity in the UK and Ireland since 2017.
Over his career in sports and entertainment, he has worked for some of the industry’s leading entities and brands, including LALIGA, Major League Soccer, Lagardère Sports and the Spanish Basketball Federation. He is also currently a Board Member at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in the UK.
Ben Precious, LALIGA’s Delegate for the UK & Ireland
Operating out of LALIGA’s London office, Ben Precious is responsible for LALIGA’s operations in the UK and Ireland. This extends across managing institutional relationships, activating the brand, running current projects and operations, identifying new revenue opportunities and providing a platform for LALIGA clubs to activate in the region.
Prior to LALIGA, Ben has worked for and with some of the biggest organisations in sport through his career, including DAZN, UEFA, European Athletics, Atlético de Madrid, the England and Wales Cricket Board and the Scottish Football Association.
