  1. Could you provide a brief overview of Chemfix and its presence in the UK market? 

Chemfix is a UK-based manufacturer specialising in chemical anchoring systems, construction adhesives, repair compounds, and surface coating technologies. The company develops and manufactures polymer-based products for the construction, industrial, and DIY sectors, while also acting as a major private-label (OEM) manufacturer.  

Its product portfolio centres mainly on chemical anchors in private label branding supplied to some of the best-known trade distributors in the UK and worldwide, as well as specialist fixings companies supplying directly to major infrastructure projects.   

The epoxy wood repair system is sold exclusively under its own well-known Timbabuild® brand. This is a specialist repair system used primarily for repair and refurbishment works to properties with wooden elements typically windows, doors, soffits or decorative features. It is a professional system and is used widely on major repair and paint projects often undertaken by specialist contractors. For example, the estates teams responsible for National Trust Properties.  

Metolux® is another Chemfix owned brand. This is used to supply brick adhesives, wood fillers and concrete repair products into professional and DIY markets supplying specialist brick cutters, wholesale distributors and industrial customers throughout the UK.  

 

2.  As a new Patron of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce (UK), what benefits do you hope to gain from our collaboration? 

An increased awareness of our business and manufacturing capabilities with potential clients operating across the UK and Spain.  

A possibility to network with other types of strategic partners, suppliers, to explore opportunities of collaboration.

3. What key values define your company, and how are these values integrated into your daily operations and customer interactions? 

TOTAL SERVICE is the Chemfix strapline. A customer-centric focus is at the foundation of all the aspects of our operation.  

Product innovation – The R&D team are continually investing in more efficient, stronger, sustainable and problem-solving products. These developments can often be customer-driven, or through a close knowledge of market trends and forthcoming changes to product approvals.  

Customer Sales Service Team – Each sales service team member is responsible for specific regions and customers with whom they share a close working relationship, ensuring Key-Performance indicators are met for example processing and confirming order within 24 hours, and ensuring promised delivery dates are met.  

Customer Support – Training and support in the form of marketing resources is given to our customers as a standard service.  Chemfix customers are offered on-site and dedicated product training sessions to help their sales force. Label design, branded product data sheets and cloned approvals are also offered as a free sales add-on.  

Technical & Regulatory – Chemfix ensures its customers are fully protected by the most up to date current regulations covering the Chemical sector. This can include ingredients which may fall in the category of “high concern”, new packaging regulations or new rules concerning the VOC (Volatile organic content) emitted by certain products.
