Join Shevaun Haviland, the Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, and their Head of Trade Policy and former MP, William Bain, to learn about the latest rapidly changing economic trends and how they might impact your business.

Shevaun, the new Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) is energetic, creative, strategic and experienced, and has great insights into government and business gleaned throughout her career, which spans the public and private sector across 3 continents. She is passionate about ESG, climate change, and the idea that business should be a force for good.

Shevaun will share her insights and key messages from COP26, as well as her expectations for the ICC World Chambers Congress which she will be attending later this month.  She will help us to understand what practical steps businesses can take to support the global net zero carbon objective, cover digital evolution, skills transition and share her views on the “levelling up” agenda. She will also discuss the messaging from the B Corporations who presented in Glasgow, who propose that business needs to have a purpose, and should first be a force for good.

Joining Shevaun on the panel will be William Bain, Head of Trade Policy for the BCC, who will talk about how trade regulations are evolving and how the changes coming into effect on 1st January, aimed at getting goods moving, are likely to impact the flow of goods across UK borders.

This will be an “in conversation” style webinar to reach the key information useful to business today.

Attendance is free, but booking is essential. Please either click the link below, or respond to your Chamber who will forward your details on.
