The National Geographic Store decoration contributed to create a fantastic environment and atmosphere.<\/p><\/div>\n

On Wednesday 26th<\/sup> February our members were invited to the event \u201cAn Evening with National Geographic<\/b>\u201d organised in collaboration with National Geographic London Store<\/a>, a member of the Spanish Chamber.<\/p>\n

The National Geographic Society is one of the world\u2019s largest non-profit scientific and educational organisations, and their London store is located in Knightsbridge, one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in the city.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, our members had the opportunity to spend a few hours daydreaming about exotic adventures as the store decor takes inspiration from faraway destinations. The background live music by Javier Moreno from Los Amigos Band, increased further the feeling of escapism and willingness of our guests to explore the travelling magazines on display and the fantastic map section.<\/p>\n

Attendees had the chance to have a look at the wide range of products displayed at the store and benefit from exclusive discounts for the evening.<\/p><\/div>\n

During the event, Katrina Mowbay, Events Manager at the National Geographic Store London, took the floor to introduce the brand as well as the services the store offers and the wide range of possible collaborations that companies can explore with them to host an event at the venue. She then gave the floor to our President, Javier Fern\u00e1ndez Hidalgo who thanked National Geographic for their support and welcome our guests on behalf of the Chamber.<\/p>\n

When the speeches were finished, there was a prize draw where guests were in with a chance to win a copy of the book \u201cNational Geographic 125 years\u201d, which boast some of the most iconic images and reporting articles that have earned worldwide recognition to the brand. The lucky winner to bag the prize was Mercedes L\u00f3pez, from Bridgestreet.<\/p>\n

Guests could enjoy nibbles and a selection of cocktails while exploring the different ambiences of the store and mingling with the rest of attendees. As part of this exclusive member event, National Geographic London Store offered a 15% discount for any purchases made during the evening so several attendees took advantage of the promotion, with wall maps being the top-selling item.<\/p>\n
