On 18th March the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain launched a new Private Members\u2019 Area on our website. The event was kindly hosted by THE CAESAR HOTEL<\/strong><\/a>, member of the Spanish Chamber, which provided a wonderful setting for the occasion. This initiative has been developed and promoted with the support of IBERIA<\/strong><\/a>, one of our Patrons, who had tested and implemented the platform in the past with some of their partners and turned out to be a great success.<\/p>\n

This new service is an improvement of the \u201ctraditional\u201d Member 2 Member Offers section placed on our website, where all members can showcase special offers and promotions on their products or services that they would like to give away exclusively to companies that are part of the Spanish Chamber network.<\/p>\n

The Caesar Hotel kindly hosted the launch of the new Private Members’ Area<\/p><\/div>\n

Lee Melville, Director of The Caesar Hotel, kicked off the round of presentations by welcoming all attendees to the event and introducing the services and highlights of the venue.<\/p>\n

Igor Urra, Secretary General of the Spanish Chamber, took the lead afterwards and made a brief presentation of our new Members\u2019 Area. He explained that the aim of this new platform is to foster relations amongst members as well as visibility.<\/p>\n

He continued on with a live demonstration, showing our members how this platform would work and how it looks. It will be easily accessible as every member is going to be provided with a user name and password so that they can log in the system. This platform will also have new features to create more attractive offers and link the Spanish Chamber website to those sites and interfaces of other member companies.<\/p>\n

Later, Sensi \u00c1lvaro and Carlos Pinacho, representatives of Iberia presented an offer on flights available for the Spanish Chamber community. They exemplified how this offer would appear on the Members\u2019 Zone and how members would be redirected to the Iberia website to proceed with the booking of their flight but with the special rate they offer applied.<\/p>\n

The icing of the cake was the raffle we organised among the attendees, for a stay in Madrid for two people. The winner was Jorge Gil, Manager of the H10 LONDON WATERLOO<\/strong><\/a>,<\/strong> who received a voucher for two flights and two nights at the Villa Real Hotel, from the Derby Hotels Collection, parent company of The Caesar Hotel. The award was kindly sponsored by the two partners that collaborated with us in the organisation of this event: Iberia and The Caesar Hotel respectively.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, our members enjoyed the opportunity to mingle during the drinks reception and exchange impressions about the event in an informal atmosphere.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, we would like to extend our gratitude to both Iberia and The Caesar Hotel, without whom this event would not had turned out to be such a success. We would also like to thank our guests for joining us on yet another successful event and wish Mr. Jorge Gil a pleasant stay in Madrid.<\/p>\n
